On June 22-23, VAICS set up a booth at the 2002 Vermont History Expo at the fairgrounds in Tunbridge. The annual event draws thousands of visitors, and though the heat in Floral Hall was stifling, everyone kept in good cheer as folks passed through to pick up VAICS maps and buy goods from the store shelves. Also presented was "Vermont's Independent Country Stores", the early cut of a new documentary video about VAICS members.
