It is easy to find us! We are located on Vermont Route 66 in the historic district of Randolph Center, just one mile east up the hill from Exit 4 on Interstate 89.
We are open every day -- weekdays 7:30am - 7:30pm, Saturday 7:30 - 6pm, Sunday 9am - noon.
Randolph Center is a picturesque small hilltop village east of Randolph. The beautifully kept homes that line the wide main street exhibit a variety of fine early architecture. Many of these homes date back to the late 1700s.

Owned by the Floyd Family since 1963, the store has been here since 1845. A grand old woodstove sits in "conversation corner" with assorted chairs for the morning coffee group or for customers to just sit and visit for a while during the day. The two benches on the front porch are popular when the weather is nice. The hitching rail for horses is still out front and in winter there is parking for snow machines out back ... the main trail goes right through our backyard. Posters for local activities are on the "Town Crier" bulletin board. Inside on the walls are old historic photos and postcards on display, along with some old posters and a few antiques.
Stop by for a cup of coffee, tea, or hot chocolate. We have the regular sodas and juice drinks as well as some you don't find everywhere and probably haven't had in a while, like birch beer, cream soda, ginger beer, or key lime.
We can whack a chunk of aged extra sharp Cabot cheddar off the 40 lb. wheel for you, and maple cured ham and bacon from Vermont Smoke and Cure can be sliced as you like it. McKenzie maple sausage is still a local favorite.
We offer a big selection of Ben & Jerry's ice cream. Choose from the regular selection of pints and "Peace Pops" or select a factory second from our fundraiser section! Spoons available!
GLUTEN FREE PRODUCTS are available for our customers with a gluten allergy. We have a good selection and all regular items that are GF are labeled as Gluten Free to make your shopping easier.

Enjoy Cabot cheddar cheese -- Neighborly Farms cheese -- fresh cider -- a great little wine selection, where you might choose a Vermont wine or an Australian Shiraz -- really cold beer, including good choices from some of Vermont's micro-breweries -- a full line of groceries and meats; we're told we have the best steak! -- Vermont milk, eggs, and cheese from local farms -- old-style Vermont crackers -- the best Vermont honey from Champlain Valley Apiaries
There is candy like Old Fashioned Cremedrops, Non Pareils, Boston Beans, Chocolate Babies, Gummi Bears and lots more quality bagged candy from the Vermont Tasty Treats company.
We sell hunting and fishing licenses and have info and maps. During early fall you can pick apples at two local orchards. Late February through March is a good time to visit area sugarhouses and watch maple syrup being made.
Neighborly Farms, just up the road, is a local dairy that produces its own cheese. They welcome visitors. You can watch cheese being made, see the cows, and pet the calves!
Vermont Technical College is here, a fine school with two- and four-year programs in 18 technical majors.
The Vermont Veterans Memorial Cemetery with its small chapel and its circle of flags and incredible view is a "must-see" -- especially during foliage season. A great time to visit is during the brilliance of fall foliage, which is always at its best on October 4!
Randolph Center is known as the home of the Morgan Horse, Vermont's State Animal. The colt which schoomaster Justin Morgan took as payment of a debt became the foundation sire of one of the greatest breeds of horses ever established in America. Horse lovers can find the grave site of the man Justin Morgan (1747-1798), for whom all Morgan Horses are named, in the cemetery at the south end of the main street. "Figure", the horse, lived his final days and is buried in Tunbridge, where there is a marker for him.
Morgan Horses can be see in pastures all around Randolph and Vermont. Ken & Jane Currier are nearby and are happy to have people stop to see the Morgan Horses they raise at The Currier Compound.
In Randolph's east valley there are three covered bridges to see along Vermont Route 14, within 3 miles of us. And there is Brookfield's famous Floating Bridge a short drive north of the store. Bring your fish pole and your swim suit!
Two nice campgrounds and Allis State Park are in the area.
