Waits River General Store |

The old store
Since 1990, the store has been owned by the MacDonald family. We are proud of our store's personality and the quality service offered to all of our customers. Check out our extensive list of products and services. We have a full service deli with take out available. Pizza is one of our customers' favorite items. If you are coming for a visit to the area, be sure and stop by. If you need something special -a party platter, a favorite wine, or almost anything else-Ask the Storekeeper. We will do our best to have it for you when you arrive.
The store first opened on this site in 1855. It has been a stagecoach stop, a hotel, a company store and is currently the source for all of the village's basic needs and more. The original building was destroyed by fire in 1953 so we offer 19th century value in 20th century architecture with 21st century products and services.
