How to Get There

We are located on Rte 7 between Rutland and Brandon. You can't miss us! Also, we are within 20 minutes of Lake Dunmore and 30 minutes from Lake Bomoseen as well as 35 minutes from Killington. We are less than a mile south of The Vermont Maple Museum on Rte 7 and that we have 4 covered bridges within our town. Two have recently been refurbished. We offer 4 specialty sandwiches at our store that we have named for the four bridges. ("The Depot" - a turkey sandwich, " The Hammond" - a ham sandwich, "The Gorham"- a rb sandwich, and "The Cooley" - a vegetarian sandwich.) Pictures of each bridge, along with a brief history of each bridge, are displayed at our deli to advertise the "Specialty Sandwich of the Day."

We have a Friday buffet consisting of four hot entrees, soup, salad and dessert for only $5.99. We have specialty sandwiches (roast beef, turkey, ham and veggie on a hard rustica roll) named for our four local covered bridges. A typical buffet might include our homemade macaroni and cheese, lasagna, baked chicken and chicken and bisquits. A cup of soup along with salad, bread and butter and dessert is also included for that price. Roughly 45 people on the average partake in our buffet.

On this page are some pictures from our recent cheese-tasting display. The fellow in the photo is a regular customer named Frank Kurant.
